Connecting Cultures is a new multi cultural performance and education concept developed by Music Worldwide for 2021/2022. We are delighted to be awarded a Lottery Grant by Arts Council England to help deliver this project. Our other main partners and advisors on this project include Norfolk Music Hub and Norwich City Council.

The project will deliver a series of schools learning activity and performance events exploring the sacred music, rhythms and voices of different faith communities and cultures that have settled in Norwich, and across the county of Norfolk.

Exploring our communities cultural ‘DNA’, and the way it is now part of our heritage, and how it is shaping our heritage underpins the main aims and objectives of this project.

Creating content that inspires and excites audiences to the worth and potential of living in a multi-cultural, multi-faith society can help reinforce social ties and demystify aspects of other cultures. This ethos lies at the heart of this project.

We will be posting news about the public concerts we will be presenting as part of this project on our www.musicworldwide.co.uk/Concerts page.

We will also be making regular announcements and updates via our social media platforms. Do make sure you follow our Facebook page as this project rolls out. Facebook
